I have 3 years of live play-by-experience. This includes 2 years of being the voice of Durham Academy basketball my junior and senior years of high school. As a freshman at UNC, I am now the voice of Tar Heel Hockey. I also had the opportunity to call a Durham Bulls game on air during the summer of 2024.

I interned with Durham Bulls Explorer Post 50 program for 3 summers (2023-2025). Throughout this internship I learned how to set-up and takedown a camera, operate dugout and outfield cameras, operated robo cameras, and how to run every position in the control room including producer and director.

During my first semester of freshman year at UNC, I learned how to use Premiere Pro in my Intro to digital storytelling class. Because of this, I now have a very good grasp on video editing skills. These skills have developed as I had to turn in two assignments with Premiere Pro. These assignments consisted of shooting an interview and then adding B-roll, titles, and natural sound to the raw footage.

I recently started a TikTok account that is centered on covering sports. This account has helped me strenghthen my journalism and storytelling skills. For each video, I first decide what I want my topic to be. Next, I spend hours researching the topic as much as possible. After that, I find video clips to include. Lastly, I write a script and record the video.
